WIDOW / WIDOWER CONSULTATION SERVICE

There was a need becoming evident regarding the need for assistance by widows and widowers in dealing with spousal benefits (pension , medical , dental , life) after the passing of a former postal worker. This became especially true with retirees covered under the Superannuation Pension Plan.

Earlier this year , the Thames Heritage Club started a consultation service for widows and widowers to provide assistance to fill this need. After a retiree passes away , the surviving spouse can easily be overwhelmed with who to contact , what documentation is required and life insurance provisions.
