The Canada Post Heritage Club
I would like to thank all those who attended our Burger Wednesday on May 6th. Although the turn out small, all who attended had their lunches paid for by the Chapter. My next Newsletter in October will have a yearly agenda of events so you will be fully aware of what is coming up.
As you can see, the photo at the top of the page is of all the Chapter Presidents across Canada. We will have the honour of hosting next years Annual General Meeting in Windsor. Much of the ground work for this event is already taken place, but at the time of the convention we will need a few volunteers to conduct the registration of the presidents. Please let me know if you will be available for a few hours of your time. The AGM runs from May 27 – 30, 2016. All who volunteer will be invited join us on our various excursions. This is our opportunity to show the rest of the chapters accross Canada how great we are and the opportunities we have within our community.
It is with great sadness we report the passing of Peter Nagy of Windsor. Our condolences go out to his family.
We would like to welcome Sheila E Ingratta of Leamington and Donna L Sleaford of Petrolia. We would like to welcome these people to our group and look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events.
We have lost contact with the following members of our chapter. Anyone with information regarding these people , please contact us so we may add them back onto our mailing list.

Our Annual Golf Outing will be on Thursday, August 20, 2015. You will find a form to be completed with the names of your foursome and a cheque to cover the fees. Please send this to Mike Belchuk. It is our hope to have a full compliment of 144 golfers for this day. I am sure when you see the cost per golfer, you will realize this is very reasonable and hard to turn down. Please have your submissions sent to Mike prior to July 15, 2015. This tournament is open to all members and their friends. Don’t miss out on this great event by being late with your submission. If we do not have a full compliment by July 15, 2015, we will invite from the other chapters in Ontario. We are asking those who attend to please bring a nonperishable item to be donated to a food bank in our area.
Sarnia and Chatham areas
We would like to have a volunteer from these 2 areas to act as a corespondent for our newsletter. This will simply entail you notifying us of any events or activities that are taking place in your area that are part of our Heritage Club. For example notification of an member who has passed away or any other activities that may be going on in your areas.Anyone wishing to help in this regard, can notify me either by email or telephone. I would like some feedback on the possibility of arranging a golf tournament or other events in the Sarnia area.
I would like to thank you all for your previous commitments and activities. It is our hope that we can make our club one of the most outstanding in the country.
